...Energy level - admittedly waning.
While gestating twins has sapped me of some energy, I'm staying positive because the new studio will be finished (or close to finished) at the end of June! Between drywall, paint, new floors, props, backdrops and lights, my husband and UPS guy are probably as tired as I am!
We've kept the studio itself really basic, staying with white walls and boring floors, because I'll be covering it all up with backdrops anyway! Mr. HR Photography took his chainsaw to the light blocking shrubs that used to stand in front of the 8 foot sliding glass
window light door and he's teaching me how to mud and sand drywall to prepare for paint! I'm taking lots of breaks and 'supervising' a lot, but watching my vision for that room come into reality is amazing! And the fact that I'll be able to be home with our dudes and work at the same time is the realization of a dream I've had since our lovely daughter came into the world eight years ago!
Keep checking the Facebook and here on the blog! As soon as this project is presentable, and before Doc says I shouldn't be working, I'll be in need of some babies, children and small families to come in, pose for promo photos and give me some feedback on the new place!
PS. We're even working on the concept for an outdoor walking portrait path around the property. It's still in the planning stages, but we hope to have it ready to showcase in late spring/early summer of 2014!
